Make a home at Watkins

Being close to your classmates, your classes, your studio, the 24-7 facilities, and your community—at such a reasonable rate—is pivotal to your development as an artist. Not to mention being so close to Nashville’s cultural offerings. We’ve provided here a table of the costs for on-campus housing each semester. The costs listed below include all utilities that come with your apartment (including internet). The cost for a regular academic year (both fall and spring semesters, without May or summer) totals $6,600. Campus housing during May and summer is only available to students who are either employed by the college or are enrolled in a class or academic internship.  All residents must plan on moving out of campus housing by the closing dates noted in the chart.

Semester Dates Cost
Fall 2017 August 12 – December 9 $3,300
Spring 2018 January 6 – May 5 $3,300
Maymester 2017 $400
May & Summer 2017 $1,200

*Occasionally, if necessary, a room may be bunked (two students sharing a single bedroom). If a student lives in a bunked room, the cost per semester is reduced by $1,000 so that the cost is $2,300 per semester or $4,600 per academic year.
