Watkins Alum Receives Regional EMMY Award

Watkins Alumnus Brian Hallett (Film-Directing ‘08), along with Laura Faber and Ken Smith of Fox-17 Nashville, recently won a Regional Emmy in the Continuing Coverage category for their news feature “Service & Sacrifice.” This is Hallett’s second nomination and first win. He graduated with a BFA in Film/Directing from Watkins last spring, after putting himself through film school while working as a videographer for Fox 17.
