Paul Gilbert and Kim Neible Appointed to Board of Trust

 

Watkins College of Art, Design & Film has named two new trustees to its board, it was announced by board chair Samuel E. Stumpf, Jr.

Joining the Board of Trustees of the four-year, baccalaureate visual arts college are Paul D. Gilbert, executive vice president and chief legal officer, LifePoint Hospitals, Inc., and Kim Neible, vice president, distribution services, Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation, who will serve three-year terms.

Trustees re-appointed through June 30, 2015, are Lynn Bennett, Lee Ann Hawkins, Taylor H. Henry (secretary/treasurer), Jerry L. Maynard, II, Eileen N. McGinn, Debbye Oliver, Steve Sirls, Samuel E. Stumpf, Jr., Laura Turner and Waddell H. Wright.

Board of Trustee members continuing in their terms are David H. Berryman, Beth S. Clayton, James H. Clayton, III, Stephanie Conner, Dee Doochin, Emmett Edwards, Edwina Hefner, Reggie Hill, James R. Kelley, Carol L. McCoy, Ken McDonald  (vice chair), Lucille Nabors, Walter Schatz, John M. Steele, and Tarun Surti.  Continuing as members of the Board of Commissioners are Susan A. Basham, Brownlee O. Currey, Jr., and Walter Knestrick. 

Watkins President Ellen Meyer, Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam and Attorney General Robert E. Cooper, Jr., serve as ex officio trustees.
