Opening Reception Sept. 17, Graphic Design Juried Show

Watkins College of Art, Design & Film is pleased to announce its first student show of the year: Split & Twisted, the annual juried student design competition. This year the guest juror is Bob Delevante - http://www.bobdelevante.com/.
An opening reception will be held from 5:30-8pm on Friday, September 17th in the Brownlee O. Currey, Jr. Gallery on the Watkins campus. The exhibit will run through October 1st. The reception and exhibition are free and open to the public.
Watkins graphic design students are among the best in the country, competing with students and professionals in regional, national and international competitions. In last year’s Nashville Student ADDY competition, Watkins students took home 28 ADDY awards, including Best of Show. In the district ADDY competition, which features student competitors from 22 colleges in Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana, Watkins students won the most awards overall and more gold awards than any other school. On the national level, four students won silver ADDYs.
