Graphic Design Majors Get 'Split & Twisted' Honors
Split & Twisted, the school’s annual juried graphic design student exhibition, presented honors to eight students during the opening night reception on September 15 in the Brownlee O. Currey, Jr. Gallery.

Jurors for Split & Twisted 2011 include noted design professionals Heather Dryden of Studio Plush, Adam Goleniewski of Anode and Ryan Nole of Kangaroo Press.
All Watkins Graphic Design majors were eligible to submit student projects (created since September 2010) in seven categories: Advertising, Advertising-Poster, Multimedia, Corporate Identity, Illustration, Publication Design, and Package Design.
Watkins graphic design students are among the most honored in the country through their submissions to regional, national and international advertising design competitions. In the past two years, Watkins students have collected 47 gold and silver Nashville Student ADDY awards, including Best of Show, and have claimed a significant number of top-level prizes at the district and national ADDYs.
Split & Twisted runs through September 28. Currey Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m.
