Watkins College of Art, Design & Film has named four new trustees to its board, it was announced by board chair Samuel E. Stumpf, Jr.
Joining the Board of Trustees of the four-year, baccalaureate visual arts college are William H. Braddy III, senior vice president, U. S. Trust; Deborah G. Crowder, executive vice president, SunTrust Banks, Inc.; Marci Mason, CEO, Marci Mason Media, and Cano A. Ozgener, owner, OZ. They each wll serve a three-year term.
As Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management,
Mr. Braddy leads a team of advisors supporting the needs of high net-worth individuals, families, business owners
and corporate executives. He is the City Executive for Nashville and a certified financial planner practitioner.
In her position as Executive Vice President with SunTrust Banks,Inc., Ms. Crowder is responsible for the financial performance of SunTrust’s 658 branch banking offices in the Northeastern and Central United States as well as Premier Banking and SunTrust’s bank at work program. Based in Atlanta, she also serves as Retail Banking Market Executive.
Ms. Mason is the owner of Marci Mason Media, a full-service production company for radio, film and television
projects, and a former vice president of the Derrick Mason Foundation, a charitable foundation helping at-risk families and children in Nashville and Baltimore.
Mr. Ozgener is the founder and former chief executive of C.A.O., a marketer and maker of premium cigars, humidors and smoking pipes established in Nashville in 1968. After selling the company in 2007, he converted the former headquarters into the contemporary arts venue and event space, OZ.
