WordCamp Nashville Debuts April 21 at Watkins

Registration is still open for WordCamp Nashville 2012, hosted by Watkins on Saturday, April 21, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration opens at 8:30 a.m.  The workshop, presented by the WordPress Foundation and local WordPress users, explores WordPress, the free online publishing platforrm and speakers will address issues for beginners, such as setting up their first site, and advanced users, such as using WordPress for e-commerce.…more

Photographer Alec Soth to Lecture on April 26

Photographer Alec Soth, known for focusing his attention, and large-format camera, on the landscapes and citizens that lie in the outskirts of modern society, will speak at Watkins College of Art, Design & Film on Thursday, April 26, as the final offering in the school’s annual Visiting Artists Series.
