Graphic Design Offers 'Ill Will' Picture Book Art May 4

  Watkins Graphic Design presents Ill Will, a dread-filled exhibition of picture book art by willful student illustrators, on Friday, May 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Werthan Lofts. Showcasing the results of the spring semester's Illustration 2 course, taught by Professor Dan Brawner, Ill Will includes picture stories of “The Great God Pan,” “La Sucia,” “The Juniper Tree,” “Jack and the Beanstalk,” Kafka's "A Report to the Academy", “A Bear Tail,” “A Very Sad Dinner Party,” “The Tale of Peter Rabbit,” and “The Tale of Spooky Rabbit.”…more

Student Films Screen April 30-May 3

WordCamp Nashville Debuts April 21 at Watkins

Registration is still open for WordCamp Nashville 2012, hosted by Watkins on Saturday, April 21, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration opens at 8:30 a.m.  The workshop, presented by the WordPress Foundation and local WordPress users, explores WordPress, the free online publishing platforrm and speakers will address issues for beginners, such as setting up their first site, and advanced users, such as using WordPress for e-commerce.…more
