Co. H and Native Magazine Prepare ‘Strange Material’ for August 17 Exhibition

Watkins students, alumni and faculty collaborate in multiple media show at MOONBASE   The artist collective Co. H and Nashville culture magazine Native present a one-night group exhibition, Strange Material, on Friday, August 17, from 6 to 9 p.m. at MOONBASE in Marathon Village. Graphic Design's Holly Carden Shows Her Stuff in Student Art Contest

Watkins students proved a strong contingent at the Hutton Hotel's second annual collegiate art contest, with five making the list of 26 finalists.  Sophomore Graphic Design major Holly Carden won third prize for her watercolor illustration "Who Killed Cock Robin?" and received a $2,000 scholarship.…more
