Rachel is a current student at Watkins College of Art, Design & Film, and says her winning design is a compilation of techniques she's learned thus far in her graphic design classes. As a Murfreesboro native, Growden has grown up attending JazzFest every year, but this is her first year to compete in the design contest. Gallery F at the Scarritt-Bennett Center Talcum Fables, an Off the Wall Group Show, featuring installation, painting and photography. The show explores storytelling through unusual materials, and is free and open to the public. The exhibit runs through March 6th.
