Sylvie Fortin To Deliver Commencement Address at May 14 Ceremony

Senior Thesis Exhibitions, Part 4 of 5, Opens April 22

  The 4th Senior Thesis Exhibition opens Friday, April 22, from 6-9pm featuring the work of Fine Art Major Emily Sue Laird. Laird will present Craftville, the physical manifestation of a dream in the making. Craftville is the name of Laird's recently formed company, whose mission is to 'provide a nest for Nashvillians to create and share their handmade goods'. …more

Watkins Shines at Nashville Film Festival

Watkins at the Nashville Film Festival

The Nashville Film Festival is right around the corner, and as always, Watkins is well represented. Our highlights include:   John Delaney Died Last Night, by Associate Professor Charles T. Kanganis. This is Professor Kanganis' first short subject film, which has already screened in Los Angeles at the New Filmmakers Festival Sunset Gower Studios. Senior Thesis Exhibitions, Part 3 of 5, Opens April 15

  Watkins College of Art, Design & Film is pleased to invite the public to the third of five Bachelor of Fine Arts Senior Thesis Exhibitions celebrating the work of students graduating this May. The third show will feature Clayton Lancaster and Sharon Hels. An opening reception will take place on April 15 from 6-9pm in the Brownlee O. Currey, Jr. Gallery at Watkins.
