Interior Design's Building Construction Class Helps Habitat

Watkins Interior Design students and faculty lent their skills -- and muscle! -- to a Habitat for Humanity build on April 6 in the Park Preserve neighborhood of North Nashville. Architect and adjunct instructor Haley Chapman McManigal led the Building Construction class team of Emily Hill, Laurie Pearson, Jasmin Franklin, Taylor Mixon, Thera Barnes and Elisha Snipes, who worked inside and outside the three-bedroom, two-bath house.…more
