It’s easy to scan on any of the copiers at Watkins and send to your watkins.edu Email account. Don’t try to send a scan directly to someone at another Email domain; rather, send it first to your Watkins Email account and forward it from there.
You do not have to log in to PaperCut to scan to Email, and there is no charge for this service.
From the main menu press ‘Scan and Send.’ If the main menu isn’t displayed, press the ‘Main Menu’ button at the upper left of the control panel.
Click on the appropriate entry and it lights up with a yellow background. Press ‘OK’.
Place your media on the scanning glass or automatic document feeder, select any other appropriate options and press the green START button to scan. If you use the automatic document feeder, the scan will automatically be Emailed. If you are copying off the glass, the following dialog will appear:
You may place and scan additional items, or simply press the ‘Start Sending’ button.
