Big Brothers Big Sisters is looking for one or more students or faculty to help the Amachi program develop a children’s activity book. This book is geared towards children with incarcerated parents or loved ones. To complete the activity book BBBS still needs a childs coloring page, a hidden objects page, a color by number page, and a comic strip. It is BBBS intent that the activity book will be administered to all the children in the Amachi Program in Nashville. All participants that contribute to the book will be acknowledged for their work.

Cheekwood Museum Exhibition Internships are designed for the university or college student seeking to gain hands-on experience in a non-profit museum and/or botanic garden.

Cheekwood offers the Ceramic Studio Internship to a qualified graduate or undergraduate candidate with a background in ceramic art.

Studio Assistants help oversee the operations and studios of Cheekwood’s summer art camp. Over the summer, Cheekwood provides quality fine art to over 1,000 children.

Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art is seeking a creative, well organized, and energetic individual to oversee the operations of its Summer Camp program. Over a period of 8 weeks, Cheekwood provides quality art, craft, garden, and outdoor adventure camps to approximately 900 children. The Assistant Summer Camp Manager plays an integral role in ensuring the quality and success of the program.

Cheekwood is seeking an experienced Housekeeper. This position is responsible for general cleaning operations and meeting installations. Must be a team player with an appreciation for detail and have the ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds. Working hours will be Tuesday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This is a temporary position starting immediately and ending on October 31, 2010.
