- Artist's Statement
- My design model promotes the health of all living things, including the earth. It is design that is as natural as it can be and functions well. It supports sustainability and, ideally, involves few or no toxins. It is design that enhances a person’s mood, energy level, and general well being. It is design that makes healthy living feel effortless to people of any age, background, or capability. To me, nourishing living and working environments integrate interior design with the outdoor landscape. This combination stimulates the human senses with sights and sounds, and strengthens our connection to the earth. Creating naturally comfortable interiors which connect to outdoor landscapes promotes human discovery and growth, and is essential to enriching the lives of the users of the space. Developing and mastering artistic and technical skills to be a progressive designer is a lifelong process that evolves with lifelong changing needs. Ultimately, the function and beauty of interior design enhances a person’s spiritual and physical well being through every stage of life.
