Dan Brawner
- Biography
Tennessee-born illustrator, Dan Brawner grew up in a sleepy suburb of Nashville on a tasty diet of sweet tea, cornbread and beans, Peanuts, and reruns of old Warner Bros. cartoons. Unable to strum a note or sing a lick, he has escaped ridicule in the "Music City" by drawing thoughtful pictures, and by marrying country music legend Webb Pierce's niece.
Since 1983, Brawner has been commissioned by regional and national design firms, advertising agencies, and publications, to create engaging images for all ages. An award-winning illustrator, he is frequently published in the Society of Illustrators annual and exhibition. In 2003, Dan earned a Master of Arts degree in Illustration from Syracuse University.
When not working, Dan can usually be found... lost in Mexico.
