Aprill Miller

I grew up and lived in Sarasota, FL for twenty years of my life. Sarasota gave me a foundation of who I am today , however, by twenty I was ready to expand my small world and see what else was out there. I packed up my car & followed in the footsteps of so many other young adults. I moved to California. I was a third generation of women in my family to make this journey. It felt like a right of passage. It was in Los Angeles where I truly fell in love with photography. I was finally out of mmy comfort zone and able to see with fresh eyes. Anything and everything was fair game for my eyes to inspect and I did. I decided to intern at a photo agency which only fed my new passion for photography. I moved to Nashville so that I could attend Watkins to pursue my BFA so that I could return to LA with the right tools for becoming an informed and successful photographer.
