Visual Resources Standards and Guidelines

Watkins College of Art and Design requires that students turn in a sample of their work each semester to import into our searchable institutional digital “ARTchive” which is currently under construction. The following PDF below includes guidelines and standards for submitting student work and copystand requests to the Visual Resources Project.

The Visual Resources “ARTchive” database is being created from the MDID application developed at James Madison University . This application allows an art instructor to search for digital images, store their own digital images, create classroom presentations, and set aside images for student study. General information about MDID is available at www.mdid.org/mdidwiki.

Please direct any questions you have about Visual Resources Standards and Guidelines to Virginia Allison, the Visual Resources Curator. vallison@watkins.edu
