Watkins College of Art&Design Graphic Design Senior Show was held Friday, April 21 at St. Bernard's Grande Ballroom in Hillsboro Village. Here the 12 graduating seniors got to display their portfolios for the creative community, friends and family. Over 300 people came to view the work, and enjoy the celebration.

The Show, entitled "New Blood from WCAD" indicates the available new design talent ready to take its place in the advertising, design, music, publishing and corporate industries. Two of the seniors have already been offered full-time jobs. Andrew Brooks was hired as a designer for The Buntin Group, the largest advertising agency in Tennessee. Elijah Wasserman was hired as a web designer for Echo Music here in Nashville. Other graduates have received high praise for their work and have lined up job interviews.

The Show was entertaining with its theme of "new blood." Each student wore a Donor Badge that indicated their special talents and interests; red goody bags given to all who attended included T-shirts with the theme, syringe pens and prescription pill bottles filled with Tic-Tacs; red balloons indicated the location of the show; a D.J. Spun tunes and delicious food and beverages were enjoyed by all.
