Community Education Open House and Watkins Student YART Sale
Saturday, April 20, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Join us for an afternoon of FREE hands-on art activities led by our teaching artists. Try figure drawing with live yogi-models from Steadfast and True Yoga, watercolor and book arts, puppet-making and more! In addition, Turnip Green Creative Reuse will host a collaborative bottle-cap mosaic mural project. And you can preview and register for our Summer 2013 classes and camps!
Going on simultaneously, the Watkins YART Sale offers original, affordable artwork made by Watkins students. So come find the perfect painting for that blank wall or a great Mother’s Day gift! Bring the whole family and grab a treat from a local food truck.
