Visit

Watkins in three dimensions

Watkins is a physical place, of course, but it’s also a culture and a community. To really see, feel, and understand what makes our campus so distinct, you must visit. We’ve put together a wide range of options for you to do so. You can sit in on studios, tour student residences, and speak to admissions staff.

Schedule a weekday tour

Every weekday—Monday through Friday at 11 a.m.—we host an hour-long tour of the Watkins campus. You will be able to experience all six Watkins departments: Fine Art, Graphic Design, Illustration, Interior Design, Photography, and Film. You will learn about our core, general education, and studio classes and see firsthand the many ways in which we prepare our students to be professional artists. If you’re interested in campus housing, you’ll also have a chance to tour the residential apartments.

Email the Admissions Office to reserve your place on one of the 11 a.m. weekday tours, or call us toll free at 844.219.2131. If the regular tour time does not fit your schedule, we’ll be glad to arrange a time that is more convenient.

Student for a day

Spend the day as a Watkins student. Take a studio class, dine in our cafe, Zulema’s Kitchen, relax in the library, talk with faculty and with your future peers, experiment with leading-edge equipment, and make art. Check the events calendar or email the Admissions Office for details.
