Kristi Hargrove (2008)

Hargrove’s studio practice is primarily drawing, but includes investigations into other media such as photography, sculpture and installation. Having received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt and a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Vermont College of Fine Art, Hargrove’s work has been shown in numerous juried shows and invitational exhibitions across the country; last summer, her detailed pencil drawings were on display in the Frist Center’s Metamorphoses exhibition. She is also a member of the Nashville artist collective COOP, a curatorial group committed to presenting challenging, new or under-represented artists and artworks in the community.
Brady Haston (2008)

A native of Spencer, Tennessee, Haston attended the University of Georgia’s Studies Abroad Program in Cortona, Italy, earned a BFA from MTSU and received an MFA from Montana State University (Bozeman). Following graduate school, he spent the next eight years in Chicago teaching at Columbia College before moving back to Nashville. His shows of note include “Paintings and Sketchbooks” at the Cheekwood Museum of Art, the Los Angeles Printmaking Society National Exhibition in 2003, “The Portrait: An Investigation of the Self” at Camberwell College of Art in London (2003), “Bacchanal” at the Appalachian Center for Crafts (2004), Art Chicago (2006), “Intersection” at the Contemporary Artist Workshop in Chicago (2006), “Abstract Painting in Tennessee” (2008), and “Superstruct” at PLUG Projects in Kansas City (2012). He is represented by Zeitgeist Gallery of Nashville.
Morgan Higby-Flowers (2013)

Higby-Flowers, teaches 4D design and digital imaging, is also responsible for developing the curriculum for all Time-Based Media courses offered in the future. These currently include Time-Based Media II and any special topics that may involve glitch art, animation, programming, video, etc. He graduated with an MFA from the Electronic Integrated Arts program, NYSCC at Alfred University (Alfred, NY) and with a BFA from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago, and has served as visiting faculty at Austin Peay State University and Ball State University (Muncie, IN). His work has been performed and exhibited extensively in Chicago and New York as well as in Mexico City, Barcelona and Cairo.
Terry Thacker (2005)

An artist and educator for more than 25 years, Thacker has shown in numerous national and regional exhibitions including at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts, Brooks Museum, Hunter Museum, Dulin Gallery and Cheekwood, as well as solo installations at Vanderbilt University, Western Kentucky University, Murray State University, Alexandria Museum, and the Memphis Center for Contemporary Art. Also active as a lecturer and reviewer, Thacker has written for Art Papers, lectured at the Southeastern College Art Association, and spoken at the Frist Center. He holds degrees in Studio Art from the University of Tennesse (MFA) and Austin Peay State University (BFA) and has studied at Long Island University and at the Atlantic Center for the Arts.
